What this trip is like
Lake Nakuru National Park is one of Kenya's most beautiful parks — only 2.5 hours from Nairobi.
On this 3-day safari, you'll drive through the Great Rift Valley to a lake famous for thousands of pink flamingos. Lake Nakuru is also one of the best places in Africa to see endangered white and black rhinos, plus Rothschild's giraffes, buffaloes, waterbucks, baboons, and if you're lucky, tree-climbing lions and leopards.
Day 1: Pickup in Nairobi, Rift Valley Viewpoint, lunch at Sopa Lodge, afternoon game drive. Day 2: Full day game drives, Baboon Cliff for lake photos, Makalia Falls, flamingos and rhinos. Day 3: Morning game drive, breakfast, drive back to Nairobi.
You stay 2 nights at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge on full board, and travel in a comfortable 4x4 Land Cruiser / tour van with a professional driver-guide.

Full Day in Lake Nakuru
Day 2
Morning and afternoon game drives. Visit Baboon Cliff and Makalia Falls. Track rhinos, giraffes and flamingos. Overnight at Sopa Lodge.
Early morning game drive, breakfast, check out. Last game drive on the way out, then drive back to Nairobi and drop off.
